Tutorial using the Slice of Summer scrap kit by KizzedByKelz

Supplies Needed

Paint Shop Pro - I am  using X5, but any should do

The Slice of Summer scrap kit by KizzedByKelz, which can be purchased at TKO Scraps   HERE

Any color or gradient and font of your choosing

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you will need to do, is to start a new image in Paint Shop Pro (PSP for short). To do this, look at the top left corner, and click on FILE>NEW> a pop up will open...set width and height to 600, make background transparent, and we will not be using a paper for this tag. Click okay, and you now have a blank size base for your tag, already sized and ready to go.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

 Okay let's get started! :)

Find and open the water #2 element. Leave the size as is and place it at the very bottom of the tag...now stretch both sides, until it goes from one side, all the way to the other...no open areas. Next, find and open the sand element, and leave the size as is. Place on the right bottom of the water, then duplicate it and flip it horizontally and place on the left at the top of the water. Duplicate this left side, and flip it vertically and place on top of the previous one here on the left side. Now duplicate it one more time and flip it horizontally and place on the right side, above the previous sand...make sure there are no open spaces or gaps.

Now find and open the cluster, and reduce the size by 40%. Place it on the right side of the tag...slide the sand underneath up on the layers menu, so it overlaps the sand on the trees. Now duplicate and flip it horizontally, and place on the right side...again, move the lower sand up so that it overlaps the sand at the bottom of the trees. Next, find and open the flower #2, and reduce it by 80%. Place 2 at the bottom of each of the tree clusters use the side layers menu to slide them to the forefront. Now find and open the hut, and reduce it by 65%. Place it centered on the tag, but all the way in the back. Now open the curtain, and reduce the size by 90% and place on the legs of the hut...making sure the sides are going in opposite directions.

Now find and open the towel, and reduce the size by 40%. Place it on the bottom right side of the sand. Next, find and open the lounge chair, and reduce it by 70%. Place it to the right of the hut.Now find and open the flower bracelet, and reduce it by 90%. Place it on the end of the lounge chair; use the side layers menu to slide it to the layer the chair is on...so it shows up in the forefront. Now find and open the chair, and reduce it by 60% . Flip it horizontally, and place it at the bottom left side of the sand. Now find and open the umbrella #2 and reduce it by 80%. Angle it behind the chair, slide it to the forefront of the sand, and then slide the chair in front of the umbrella (side layers menu).

Now find and open the umbrella and reduce it by 70%,and place at the top end of the towel. Now find and open the sun cream and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the right side of the towel, towards the top; use the side layers menu to slide the sun cream to the layer the towel is on, so it is in the forefront. Now find and open the beach bag and reduce the size by 80%. Place on the back left of the pink chair  use the side layers menu to slide it to the chair layer, so it is in the forefront. Now find and open the Ipod, and reduce it by 90%. Place it on the bottom right by the towel, next to the sun cream...slide it to the forefront. Next, find and open the tube of sunscreen and reduce it by 90%. Place it at the top of the towel, and to the left of the umbrella.

Now find and open the poser #5 and reduce it by 70% and place her on the center front of the tag. Next, find and open the beach ball and reduce it by 90%, and place one on the left and the right side of the water. Now find and open the box of melons and reduce it by 85%. Place to the left of the hut. Now find and open the cute girl bear, and reduce her by 60% and place her on the right side, in front of the lounge chair...make sure she is in the forefront. Next, find and open the furball, and reduce it by 80% and place her to the left of the poser.  Now find and open the girl melon bear and reduce her by 60% and place her on the left, in front of the melon box.

Now find the torch and open it and reduce it by 80%, and place on the right side and slide it to the forefront...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place it on the left side. Now find and open the lei, and reduce it by 70% and have it hanging on the pink chair. Next, find and open the float and reduce it by 70% and place it in the front center part of the water. Now find and open the puppy and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the float. Next, find and open the sunglasses and reduce by 90%, and place in front of the beach bag; use the side layers menu to get it to the forefront. Now find and open the melon cocktail and reduce it by 85% and place on at the top of the beach towel, and another on the right side of the poser. Now find and open the bubbles and reduce it by 75%/ Place them at the top left, duplicate and place at the top right. Now find and open the sparkle, and place it on the top right area...reduced by 75%...duplicate it 4 times, until it is bright and looks like the sun shining.

You did it! You now have finished this tag. You will need to add copy wright info to your tag, as it is the law. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you did, please follow my blog and pass it along to others. If you make a tag using this tutorial, please send it to meat robynebutts@gmail.com, so I can place it on my blog.

Hugs and blessings,
Robyne
