Preview of the lovely Amanda tube by Very Many!

CT PTU tutorial for the Spring Days Ahead scrap kit by Amy Marie

Materials Needed

The Spring Days Ahead scrap kit by Amy Marie, which can be purchased at Amy Marie's shop   HERE

The Amanda tube by Very Many, which can be purchased at PFD   HERE

Mask AR315CMCMask147 which can be downloaded from their blog   HERE

PSP - I am using X5, but any should do

***This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP***

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you want to do is create our mask layers. Open whatever mask you choose to use; I have chosen a mask by The Creative Misfits. Okay, in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) click FILE>OPEN>and open the mask (AR315CMCMask147), or the mask you have chosen, then start a new image FILE>NEW>700x700 and transparent needs to be checked.  Choose color or gradient on the right side layers menu; I chose to use a kit paper instead...I used paper 13....copy and paste the paper to the new image. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. Now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :) Just copy and paste it to the tag, reduce it by 50%, and place it on the top right...duplicate and place it on the top right.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

Next, find and open the el 101, and leaving the size as is, place on the bottom right of the tag (make sure you leave plenty of room for grass ans things on the bottom)...duplicate and place on the left side, connecting to the first one. Next, find  and open the Amanda tube...make sure she is in the purple shirt with the light skirt...copy and paste her to the tag...reduce her by 60% and center her on the bottom. Next, find and open the el 89, and leaving the size as is, place it on the bottom left, at the bottom of the fence...duplicate and move over and down...keep duplicating til the left is full....duplicate and flip horizontally and repeat for right side...repeat to put grass all behind the fence as well. Next, find and open el 20, and reduce it by 45%, and place it on the bottom right, under the tube's knee.

Next, find and open the el 107, and reduce it by 65%, and place in the bottom right corner. Next, find and open the el 92, and reduce it by 25%, and place it back on the left, behind the fence. Next, find and open the el 43, and reduce it by 25%, and place it on the back left, in front of the green tree. Next, find and open the el 110, and reduce it by 45%, and place it on the bottom left, in front of the fence.

Next, find and open the el 113, and reduce it by 75%, and place it on the bottom left, to the right of the birdhouse. Next, find and open the el 79, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the left, on the birdhouse. Next, find and open the el 29, and reduce it by 70%, and place it on the bottom left, behind the stumps. Next, find and open the el 42, and reduce it by 95%, and place it on the bird bath.

Next, find and open the el 96, and reduce it by 35%, and place it on the bottom right, in front of the fence...duplicate and place on the left. Next, find and open the el 112, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the bottom right, on top of the stump. Next, find and open the el 65, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the bottom right, by the fence. Next, find and open the el 23, and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the bottom right, on the wood. Next, find and open the el 31, and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the bottom left, on the bottom of the birdhouse...duplicate and flip horizontally and place it on the right, in front of the wood.

Next, find and open the el 34, and reduce it by 40%, and place it on the top right, behind the fence. Next, find and open the el 17, and reduce it by 25%, and place it on the right on the fence...duplicate and put on the left side of the fence. Next, find and open the el 81 and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the bottom, to the left of the pillows. Next, find and open the el 86, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the bottom, to the left of the bucket.

Next, find and open the el 100 and reduce it by 65%, and place it on the bottom right, behind the pillows, on the fence. Next, find and open the el 25, and reduce it by 70%, and place it on the bottom left, in front of the stump. Next, find and open the el 47, and reduce it by 95%, and place it on the bottom left, on the flowers...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place on the right.

Next, find and open the el 27, and reduce it by 80%, and place it in the top right corner. Next, find and open the el 57, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the top right, on the bird feeder. Next, find and open the el 95, and reduce it by 95%, and place it on the bottom left, in the grass.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be....I like these settings: 2V 1H 70 op, 4B. Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you did, please follow my blog and pass it along to others. If you make a tag using this tutorial, please send it to me at robynebutts@gmail.com, so I can place it on my blog.

Hugs and blessings,
Robyne
