CT PTU Tut for the Lavender Steampunk scrap kit by Scrappin Krazy Designs, featuring the Spanish Girl tube by Alex Prihodko!

Materials Needed

The Lavender Steampunk scrap kit by Scrappin Krazy Designs, which can be purchased at Spazzd Art HERE

The Spanish Girl tube by Alex Prihodko, which can be purchased at PFD HERE

Template - # 150 by Addictive Templates, which can be downloaded on the blog HERE

Mask CBNMask1CMC, by Creative Misfits, which can be downloaded on their blog HERE

PSP - I am using X5, but any should do

***This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP***

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you want to do is open the template from Addictive Templates. Then, let's create our mask. Open whatever mask you choose to use; I have chosen a mask by Creative Misfits. Okay, in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) click FILE>OPEN>and open the mask you have chosen, then start a new image FILE>NEW>700x700 and transparent needs to be checked. I used a paper instead of a gradient...so copy and paste paper 09 to the new image. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. Now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :) Just copy and paste it to the tag, reduce the size by 60%, and place on the top right...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place it on the top right.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

The next thing we want to do is to start adding our elements to make this tag come to life!! First, we need to put our papers and filters to our template. The papers should be as follows: paper 1 on rasters 1, c1, and 11, paper 9 on raster 16, paper 5 on raster 13, paper 7 on rasters 2 and 7, paper 10 on rasters 4, 10, and 12, and paper 15 on rasters 3 and 6.

Next, find and open the Spanish Girl tube by Alex Prihodko...place her in the violet pants and violet hair, make tattoo visible...merge visible layers. Copy and paste her to the tag...reduce her size by 30% and center her on the bottom of the tag. Now go back to the tube and copy and paste it to the right square..reduce it by 10% and center her face and invert...add a screen effect. Repeat on left square but flip it horizontally.

Next, find and open the el 59, and leaving the size as is, place it on the center, behind the tube and close ups. Next, find and open the el 58, and leaving the size as is, and place on top of the screen, in the middle of the close ups. Next, find and open the el 12, and reduce it by 40%, and place it on the top left. Next, find and open the el 31, and reduce it by 45%, and place it in the bottom left corner, under the tube. Next, find and open the el 03, and reduce it by 75%, and place it in the center at the bottom, behind the tube's back.

Next, find and open the el 36, and reduce it to fit over both close ups. Next, find and open the el 42, and leaving the size as is, and place it in the top center. Next, find and open the el 32, and reduce it by 70%, and place it in the top right corner. Next, find and open the el 06, and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the right side, above the tube. Next, find and open the el 07, and reduce it by 85% and place it on the right side, on top of el 06.

Next, find and open the el 50, and reduce it by 90%, and place it in the top right corner of the right close up. Next, find and open the el 21, and reduce it by 90%, and place it in the top right corner of the left close up. Next, find and open the el 01, and leaving the size as is, place it on the top left. Next, find and open the el 17, and leaving the size as is, place it on the top right, to the left of the cross.

Next, find and open the el 30, and leaving the size as is, place it on the bottom, angled under the hour glass. Next, find and open the el 22, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the top right, on top of the gear. Next, find and open the el 56, and place it in the top left corner. Next, find and open the el 53, and leaving the size as is, and place it on the left side. Next, find and open the el 10, and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the top left.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be....I like these settings: 2V 1H 70 op, 4B. Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
