CT PTU tutorial for the Clockwork Girl scrap kit by Michelle's Myths,  featuring the Anika poser tube by Designs by Norella

Materials Needed

The clockwork Girl scrap kit by Michelle's Myths, which can be purchased at PFD  HERE

The Anika poser tube by Designs by Norella, which can be purchased at PFD  HERE

Template - #99 by Addictive Templates, which can be downloaded on the blog  HERE

Masks by the Creative Misfits, which can be downloaded from their blog  here

PSP - I am using X5, but any should do

***This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP***

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you want to do is open the template from Addictive templates. Then, let's create our mask layers. Open whatever mask you choose to use; I have chosen 2 different masks by The Creative Misfits. Okay, in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) click FILE>OPEN>and open the  1st blocks mask you have chosen, then start a new image FILE>NEW>700x700 and transparent needs to be checked.  Choose color or gradient on the right side layers menu; I chose to use a kit paper instead...I used paper 5....copy and paste the paper to the new image. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. Now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :) Just copy and paste it to the tag, leaving the size as is, place it on the top right...duplicate it and flip it horizontally and place it on the top left. repeat this process for the second mask (the star one), except this time use paper 1...copy and paste it to the tag and reduce the size by 75%...place it in the top left corner...duplicate it...duplicate it again and flip it horizontally and place on the top right...duplicate again...duplicate another time and flip it vertically and place on the bottom right...duplicate...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place it on the bottom right...duplicate.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

The next thing we want to do is to start adding our elements to make this tag come to life!! First, we need to put our papers on our template. The papers should be as follows: paper 5 on raster 2, paper 4 on rasters 1 and 5, paper 3 on rasters 4 and 7, paper 1 on rasters 8 and 9, and paper 2 on rasters 3 and 6.

Next, find  and open the Anika poser tube...copy and paste her to the tag..reduce her by 65% and center her at the bottom. Now back to the original and copy and paste on the tag again...place it in the right side small circle...decrease size to fit a close up of the face and then invert it...add a brick wall texture. Go back and copy and paste again and place it on the left  small bottom square this time...decrease size til you have focused in on the chest area with the heart and then invert it...add a grid texture.

Next, find and open the el 29 and increase the sides by 10&, and place it at the bottom of the tag, behind the poser. Next, find and open the el 38 and reduce it by 10% and place across the floor we just laid down. Next, find and open the el 33 and reduce it by 80%, and place it angled in the bottom right-hand corner. Next, find and open the frame 2 and reduce its size until it frames the circle face close up.

Next, find and open the el 32, and reduce it by 90% and place it in the bottom right-hand corner, on top of the sheet music. Next, find and open the el 54, and reduce it by 80%, and place it in the bottom right corner, to the left of the sheet music. Next, find and open the el 55, and reduce it by 40%, and place it on the top left, in the center of the pink square. Next, find and open the el 20, and reduce it by 80%, and place it in the bottom left-hand corner.

Next, find and open the el 46, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the bottom left, to the left of the globe. Next, find and open the el 9, and reduce it by 60%, and place it angled at the top right. Next, find and open the el 31, and reduce it by 25%, and place it on the top left. Next, find and open the el 59, and reduce it by 75%, and place it on the bottom left, to the right of the globe. Next, find and open the el 30, and reduce it by 35%, and place it on the bottom right.

Next, find and open the el 6, and reduce it by 60%, and place it on the bottom left, to the right of the bottle. Next, find and open the el 57, and reduce it by 65%, and place it bottom center, behind the tube and the violin. Next, find and open the el 7, and leaving the size as is, place it on the top left on top of the mask layer...duplicate it, flip it horizontally, and place on the top right. Next, find and open the el 56, and reduce it by 30%, and place it on the top left, on top of the cross. Next, find and open the el 21, and reduce it by 95%, and place it on the bottom left, in front of the bottle. Next, find and open the el 4, and reduce it by 55%, and place it in the bottom right corner, behind the sheet music.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be....I like these settings: 2V 1H 70 op, 4B. Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you did, please follow my blog and pass it along to others. If you make a tag using this tutorial, please send it to me at robynebutts@gmail.com, so I can place it on my blog.

Hugs and blessings,
Robyne
