Pampered Pets by Pink Paradox Productions - Ct Tag, tut & FREEBIE cluster frame

Tutorial using the Pampered pet scrap kit by Pink Paradox Productions, and featuring the Michelle tube by VeryMany.

Supplies Needed

Paint Shop Pro - I am using X5, but any should do

The Pampered Pets scrap kit by Pink Paradox productions, which is available for purchase at the Scrappin Box HERE

Any mask of your choosing, I chose a mask from PSP-Pals

Any color or gradient and font of your choosing

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you will need to do, is to start a new image in Paint Shop Pro (PSP for short). To do this, look at the top left corner, and click on FILE>NEW> a pop up will open...set width and height to 600, make background white, and make sure the transparent box is not checked. Click okay, and you now have a blank size base for your tag, already sized and ready to go.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

I have chosen a mask from PSP-Pals. Okay, in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) click FILE>OPEN>and open the mask you have chosen, then start a new image FILE>NEW>600x600 and transparent needs to be checked. Choose color or gradient on the right side layers menu; I chose a blue and purple gradient...flood fill the new blank image with the color or gradient..the flood fill is the paint bucket shape. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :) Now, let's add a nice paper to add some color to your tag. To do this, click on FILE>OPEN> find paper #8 and open it, then click on the pick tool on the tool menu on the left (it looks like an arrow)..a white dotted line will surround the paper, now click EDIT>COPY> find the image 1 tab at the top and click on it...you will do this every time to paste new items as you want to keep building on Image 1 (this is your tag), now click EDIT>PASTE AS NEW LAYER. Decrease the size to fit. Slide the mask to the layer the paper is on in your side layers menu, so your mask is on top.

Now, let's add some other items to start adding depth and dimension to our tag! Find the EL 65 bench and open it, and place it on the left side of the tag. Now find the Michelle tube by VeryMany and open her. Hide all layers except the full body view, the purple jacket, and the pink shirt. Reduce the size by about 75% and place her centered on the bench. Now click FILE>OPEN> find the El #54 doghouse and open it, and then click EDIT>COPY> click on the Image 1 tab, then click EDIT>PASTE AS NEW LAYER. Reduce the size by 55% and place it on the back right of the tag. Now click FILE>OPEN> find the El #41 clouds and open it, then click EDIT>COPY> click on the Image 1 tab, then click EDIT>PASTE AS NEW LAYER. Reduce the size by 80%, and place it centered on top between the doghouse and the tube...duplicate and flip it horizontally on the top left side.

Okay now click FILE>OPEN> find the El #49 pink pet bed and open it, then reduce the size by 85%. Place it at the bottom right side of the bench. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the EL #5 chihuahua, and open her, and then reduce her size by 85% and place her on the right back by the dog house. Now click FILE>OPEN> find the El#2 grey cat and open it, reduce the size by 65% and place it in the pink pet bed. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El#91 pink and white flower and open it and reduce the size by 80% and then place a flower in each of the four corners...duplicate every corner and flip it horizontally...this makes a fuller flower.

Okay now click FILE>OPEN> find the El# 7 and El 38 birds and open them, then and reduce the size by 95%. Place them in the tree behind the bench. it Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El #68 grass and open it, and place it across the bottom of the tag...increase the width by 25%. Now click FILE>OPEN> find the EL #95 and place on bottom left, then duplicate and flip it horizontally and place on the bottom right. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El#100 and place on bottom left...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place on the bottom right. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El #52 water bowl and open it, and reduce the size by 95% and place it back by the doghouse.

Okay now click FILE>OPEN> find the El# 114 pink crown and open them, then and reduce the size by 95%, and place it on the chihuahua's head. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El #108 purple butterflies and open it, and place it across the bottom of the tag...reduce the size by 75% and place on the top left, then duplicate and flip it horizontally and place on the top right. Now click FILE>OPEN> find the EL # 30 white bone and open it, reduce the size by 97% and place angled on the dog bowl. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El#155 and open it...place it in the center, use the side layers menu and slide to the bottom, duplicate it and flip it vertically and place at the bottom of the tag. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El #153 and open it, and place it at the top, duplicate and flip it vertically and place it at the bottom of the tag.

Okay now click FILE>OPEN> find the El# 133 and open it, and place it in the top left corner...then duplicate it and flip it horizontally and place it on the top right. Repeat this process with El # 137. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El #138 and place it at the top left, duplicate it...then duplicate again and flip it horizontally and place on top right...duplicate one more time. Now click FILE>OPEN> find the EL # 123 bow and open it, reduce the size by 85% and place angled on each of the corner flowers. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El#99 white flowers and open it...reduce the size by 85% and place on the bottom right, then duplicate it and flip it horizontally and place on the bottom left. Now Click FILE>OPEN>find the El #23 and open it, and reduce the size by 85% and place it in the front right of the chihuahua. Now open El #71 and reduce it 95% and place it and place it at the top of the doghouse. Now open El #38 the purple mouse and reduce its size by 95% and place in the pet bed with the cat, to the left.

You did it! You now have finished this tag. You will need to add copy wright info to your tag, as it is the law. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing.
