Tutorial using the Peppermint scrap kit by

Jen's Sweet Temptations, and featuring the Pepper Mint posers by MediEvil Creations!

Supplies Needed

Paint Shop Pro - I am using X5, but any should do!

The Peppermint scrap kit by Jen's Sweet Temptations, which can be purchased at Scrappin Dollars HERE

The posers are included in this kit; however you can check out Medi's posers on her blog HERE

Template xmas 33 by Addicitve Templates

Any color or gradient and font of your choosing

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you will need to do, is to open the Template Xmas #3 template by Addictive Templates. We are using a mask for this tag; however it is already in with the template.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

Now, let's add some other items to start adding depth and dimension to our tag! The first thing we want to do, is place papers on parts of our template; for this temp I really like the design, so we are only changing one paper...paper 10 to the bottom rectangle.

The next thing we want to do is to start adding our elements to make this tag come to life!! The very first thing we will want to do is to add our Pepper Mint poser #4 and leaving the size as is, and center it on the bottom of the tag. Slightly decrease the size of the word art and move it over a little to the right. Next, go back to the poser and erase/cut all but her head; copy and paste it onto the circle on the left of the tag...flip it horizontally.

Next, find and open the tree 1 and reduce it by 30% and place on the right side behind the full poser. Next, find and open the rocking horse and reduce it by 80% and place it in the bottom right corner; make sure it is in the forefront of the tree. Next, find and open the candle and reduce it by 30% and place it on the left bottom corner, in the forefront. Next, find and open the snowflakes and reduce the size by 20%...place on the right top, duplicate it and flip it horizontally and place to the left a bit...duplicate again and flip it vertically and place on the bottom of the circle on left.

Next, find and open the skates 1 and reduce it by 30% and place on the bottom left corner in the forefront; move the candle up a bit. Next, find and open the flower 1 and reduce it by 60% and place it at the top center on the line; duplicate it and flip it horizontally...this makes a fuller flower. Next, find and open the bells and reduce them by 90% and place in the center of the flower. Next, find and open the scroll and reduce it by 60% and place it on the left side at an angle, where the bottom half is hidden behind the full poser.

Next, find and open the window and reduce it by 10% and place it in the top right area, behind the tree layer. Next, find and open the decor 4 and place it on the right side of the circle; duplicate and flip it horizontally and place it on the left side. Next, find and open the bag and reduce it by 255 and place it on the bottom right, to the left of the rocking chair. Next, find and open the ribbon and leaving the size as is, place it at the bottom under the word art. Lastly, find and open the flower 1 and reduce it by 70% on the top of the tree; duplicate it and flip it horizontally to make a fuller flower. Now find and open the birdhouse and reduce it by 90% and place it centered in the flower on top of the tree.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be. Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
