Madelyn scrap kit by Patty B Scraps, featuring the Gloria tube by VeryMany - CT tag, Tut, & FREEBIE cluster

Tutorial using the Madelyn scrap kit by Patty B Scraps, and featuring the Gloria tube by VeryMany

Supplies Needed

Paint Shop Pro - I am using X5, but any should do

The Madelyn scrap kit by Patty B Scraps, which is available for purchase at Wilma4Ever HERE

The Gloria tube by VeryMany, which can be purchased at Pics for Design HERE

Any color or gradient and font of your choosing

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you will need to do, is to start a new image in Paint Shop Pro (PSP for short). To do this, look at the top left corner, and click on FILE>NEW> a pop up will open...set width and height to 600, make background white, and make sure the transparent box is not checked. Click okay, and you now have a blank size base for your tag, already sized and ready to go.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

We will not be using a mask or a background paper for this tag. Okay the first thing you need to do is get your tube on your tag. Open the Gloria tube and hide every layer except her green jeans in the full view....merge the visible layers Now copy her and reduce her size by 50% and center her on the tag. Now find and open the flourish corners and reduce the size by 90%. Place one in the bottom right corner...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place in bottom left corner...duplicate and flip it vertically and place in top left corner...duplicate one more time and flip horizontally and place in the top right corner. Now find and open the doily and reduce the size by about 60%. Center it on the tag, and make sure it is behind the tube; you can slide the tube forward using the side layers menu if needed.

Now find and open the ribbon 1 bow and reduce the size by 90% and pace on angled in each of the 4 corners. Now find and open the tea cup and reduce it by 95% and place it on the bottom right, above the tube's foot. next, find and open the postcard and reduce it by 95% and place it angled behind the tea cup. Now find and open the lace and reduce it by 90% and place it across the top and bottom of the tag. Use the side layers menu to bring forward anything the lace covered up.

Now find and open the tag 3a and reduce it by 05% and place it on the bottom left. Now open tag 3b and reduce it 95% and place it down a little and to the right of tag 3a. Next, find and open the flower #10 and reduce it by 95% and place one in the center of each of the corner bows. Now find and open the button #3 and reduce it by 98% and place one in the center of each of the corner flowers. next, open the bead string and reduce it by 90%. Place it in the center of the lace at the top and bottom of the tag, and down the sides of the tag. use the side layers menu again, to slide anything forward that the beads covered up.

Now find and open flower #5 and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the bottom left, behind the red star. Next, find and open the flower #3 and reduce it by 90% and place it to the right of flower 5. Now open the flower #2 and place it to the right of the last flower. Now open the foliage #6 and reduce it by 90%. Place it on the left side behind the flowers..duplicate and flip it horizontally. Now place it on the right side behind the post card and duplicate it and flip it horizontally.

Now open flower #6 and reduce it by 90% and place it on the right corner of the postcard. Next, find and open the journal #2 and reduce the size by 85% and place it on the left bottom, behind the flowers.Now find and open the tag #2 and reduce it by 95% and place it angled on the bottom left, above the postcard. Lastly open the flower #4 and reduce the size by 90% and place it on the left of the tea cup. Use the side layers menu and slide it to the forefront.

You did it! You now have finished this tag. You will need to add copy wright info to your tag, as it is the law. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing.
