Mask Dead sexy by Candy's Treats

Template # 182 by Addictive Templates

Any color or gradient and font of your choosing

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you will need to do, is to open the template #182 from Addictive Templates. Next, let's create our mask. I have chosen a mask from Candy's Treats called Dead Sexy. Okay, in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) click FILE>OPEN>and open the mask you have chosen, then start a new image FILE>NEW>600x600 and transparent needs to be checked.  Choose color or gradient on the right side layers menu; I chose a black and white gradient...flood fill the new blank image with the color or gradient..the flood fill is the paint bucket shape. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. Now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :)  Just copy and paste it to the tag; increase the size by 50% and center on the tag.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

Now, let's add some other items to start adding depth and dimension to our tag! The first thing we want to do, is place papers on parts of our template. The following is where your papers should be. Paper #3 on raster 33 and raster #6, paper # 2 on raster #4 and raster #2, paper #5 and rasters #7 and 11, paper #1 on raster #9 and the copy#9, paper #6 on rasters 2 and copy 2, and paper# 4 and rasters 8 and 5. The next thing we want to do is to add our tube images. Find and open the full view tube image; I chose the yellow top, black skirt and purple hat; reduce it by 65% and place it on the center at the bottom. Now reduce by 85% and place the top half in the right square...erase anything outside the square...duplicate it and flip it horizontally and place in the left square. Using the effects menu, make them both vignette.

Next, find the  El #46 the hanging pumpkins and reduce it by 90%; place it at the top and behind raster #11. Next, find and open the El# 40 the tree...leaving the size as is, move it upwards on the far right side, until the bottom of the tree is hidden; place on the layer underneath the hanging pumpkins...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place in the same position on the top left. Next, find and open the El # 26 the spiderweb and increase it by 35%...place it centered towards the top; you will want it underneath the pumpkins on raster # 34. Next, find and open the El # 23 the headstone and reduce it by 85% and place on the bottom right; it should be in front of everything except the tube..it should be behind her.

Next, find and open the El # 21 the skull bottle and reduce it by 87% and place on the bottom left; make sure it is in the forefront. Next, find and open the El # 11 the skulls and bones and reduce it by 90% and place on the bottom left to the right of the bottle, making sure it is in the forefront. Next, find and open the El# 49 the pumpkin and reduce it by 95% and place on the bottom right, to the left side of the headstone; make sure it is in the forefront. Next, find and open the El # 50 the moon and reduce it by 90% and place on the top left area, in the forefront. Next, find and open El #43 the cloud and reduce it by 90% and place it at the top right, behind the tree.

Next, find and open the El # 24 the cat and reduce it by 95% and place it on the bottom left in front of the tube. Next, find and open the El #12 and place on the bottom right...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place on the bottom left; make sure it is behind the tube and items at the bottom. Next, find and open the El # 4 the bat and reduce it by 90% and place in the center at the top, making sure it is in the forefront. Next, find and open the El # 48 the owl and reduce it by 90% and place it on the top right, making sure it is in front of the tree layer.

Next, find and open the El # 34 the purple tree and leaving the size as is, place it on the top right side as is..make sure it is behind all but the mask...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place on the top left. Next, find and open the El # 36 the purple spike bush and reduce it by 95% and place on the bottom left behind the bones...duplicate it and flip it horizontally and place it on the bottom right behind the pumpkin. Next, find and open the El#  39 the chalice and reduce it by 98% and place on the bottom right in front of the bottom right of the headstone. Next open the El #9 the yellow flower and reduce it by 95% and place it in the forefront on the outside corners of the small pic squares, making sure they are going in opposite directions. Your last element is El # 45 the glitter trail...open it and leaving the size as is, place it on the bottom left in front of the black liquid, making sure it is behind all other elements...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place on the bottom right.5

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be.  Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you did, please follow my blog and pass it along to others. If you make a tag using this tutorial, please send it to meat robynebutts@gmail.com, so I can place it on my blog.

Hugs and blessings,
Robyne
