Materials Needed

The Dark Girl scrap kit by P-O Concept, which can be purchased at S&CO HERE

TheDark Girly tube tube by Danny Leer, which can be purchased at S&CO HERE

Template By Creative Misfits, which can be downloaded on the Creative Misfits Blog HERE

Mask - halftone mask 2 by Dangerously delicious Designs, which can be downloaded on her blog HERE

PSP - I am using X5, but any should do

***This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP***

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you want to do is open the template from Creative Misfits. Then, let's create our mask. Open whatever mask you choose to use; I have chosen a mask by DD. Okay, in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) click FILE>OPEN>and open the mask you have chosen, then start a new image FILE>NEW>700x700 and transparent needs to be checked. I chose to use a paper for the mask, so copy and paste paper 1 to the new image. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. Now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :) Just copy and paste it to the tag, reduce the size by 50%, and place on the top left...duplicate it and flip it horizontally and place on the top right...D and FV and place on the bottom right...D and FH and place on the bottom left. Repeat this process for a 2nd mask layer...this time using paper 9. Reduce the size of this layer by 70%, and place in the same areas as the previous layers.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

The next thing we want to do is to start adding our elements to make this tag come to life!! First, we need to put our papers to our template. The papers should be as follows: paper 3 on the purple rectangle, paper 2 on the skinny purple strips, paper 6 on all black shapes, and paper 9 on all blue shapes. For this temp, I re-did the word art, so I was able to have the aqua where the blue is.

Next, find and open the Dark Girl tube; use the full-view. Copy and paste her to the tag...reduce her size by 30% and center her on the.

Next, find and open the el 27, and reduce it by 85%, and place it angled on the left side. Next, find and open the el 94, and reduce it by 90%, and place on the light grey rectangle on the top right...D and FV and place on the bottom left one. Next, find and open the el 42, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the bottom right. Next, find and open the el 10 and reduce it by 70%, and place it on the right side, partially behind the tube. Copy and paste the tube onto this elements..FH, and decrease size to fit..invert, and erase any extra on the trim of the pics.

Next, find and open the el 24, and reduce it by 85%..FH, and place it on the bottom right, on the bottle. Next, find and open the el 14, and reduce it by 40%, and place it on the bottom left corner, behind the word art. Next, find and open the el 29, and reduce it by 70%, and place it on the right side, over the close up pic. Next, find and open the el 12, and reduce it by 30%..FH, and place on the left side, below the explicit sign.

Next, find and open the el 19, and reduce it by 50%, and place in the top right corner. Next, find and open the el 47, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the bottom right, left side of the bottle. Next, find and open the el 75, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the bottom right corner, behind the vial. Next, find and open the el 91, and reduce it by 60%, and place it on the left side, behind the explicit sign. Next, find and open the el 68, and reduce it by 90%, and place it in the top left corner.

Next, find and open the el 48, and reduce it by 90%...FH, and place on the right side, behind the drink, at an angle. Next, find and open the el 55, and reduce it by 90%, and place on the bottom right, half being hidden behind the drink. Next, find and open the el 16, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the top right of the tube's head. Next, find and open the el 46, and reduce it by 30%, and place it on the bottom..D and FH...keep repeating til the area is all filled in. 3

Next, find and open the el 25, and leaving the size as is, place it on the bottom left. Next, find and open the el 37, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the top right. Next, find and open the el 21, and reduce it by 95%, and place it on the top right, on el 37. Next, find and open the el 62, and reduce it by 98%, and place on the top right, on el 21. Next, find and open el 86, and leaving the size as is, place it on the left side under the safety pin...D and move up and to the left...erase any on the right side of the tag. Next, find and open el 54, and reduce it by 70%, and place it on the left side, on top of the screen layer.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be....I like these settings: 2V 1H 70 op, 4B. Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
