CT PTU Tut for the Melanie tube by Trinita, and the Magical Spring scrap kit by Tiny Turtle Designs!

Materials Needed

The Melanie tube by Trinita, which can be purchased at PFD HERE

The Magical Spring scrap kit by Tiny Turtle Designs, which can be purchased at the TTD shop HERE

Mask 167 by Wee Scotts Lass, which can be downloaded on her blog HERE

PSP - I am using X5, but any should do

***This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP***

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you want to do is to create our mask. Open whatever mask you choose to use; I have chosen a mask by WSL. Okay, in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) click FILE>OPEN>and open the mask you have chosen, then start a new image FILE>NEW>700x700 and transparent needs to be checked. I have chosen to use a paper for this mask...so open paper 4, and copy and paste it to the new image. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. Now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :) Just copy and paste it to the tag, reduce by 60%, and place wherever you would like it...keep repeating til there is mask everywhere you would like it to be.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

Okay, let's get started! Find and open el 105 the frame, increase it by 25%, and center it on the new image. Next, place paper 6 behind the frame. Next, find and open the Melanie tube (layers-teal shorts and plaid shirt, blue t-shirt, and teal in her hair). Copy and paste her to the tag, and reduce her by 40%, and place her at the bottom of the frame, centered...erase any extra.

Next, find and open the el 149, and reduce it by 50%, and place it on the left side of the frame. Next, find and open the el 3, and reduce it by 85%, and place it in the bottom left corner of the frame. Next, find and open the el 124, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the bottom left, in front of the birdhouse. Next, find and open the el 140, and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the bottom right corner of the frame.

Next, find and open the el 136, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the right side, behind the pail. Next, find and open the el 66, and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the left side, behind the birdhouse. Next, find and open the el 45, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the bottom right, on the left side of the pail. Next, find and open the el 63, and place it on the top right of the pail. Next, find and open el 24, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the top of the pail.

Next, find and open the el 46, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the left side above the birdhouse. Next, find and open the el 15, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the left side...D and FH and place on the right. Next, find and open the el 71, and reduce it by 80%, and place it across the bottom of the frame. Next, find and open el 34, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the left side...D and FH, and place on the right side. Next, find and open el 19, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the left side...D and FH, and place on the right side.

Next, find and open the el 11, and reduce it by 90%, and place on the left...D and FH and place on the right. Next, find and open the el 40, and reduce it by 90%, and place on the left side...D and FH and place on the right side. Next, find and open the el 14, and place it int he center of the frame. Next, find and open the el 51, and reduce it by 95%, and place to the center bottom of the frame...D and move to the right. Next, find and open el 109, and reduce it by 90%, and place on the left side, over the birdhouse.

Next, find and open el 49, and reduce it by 85%, and place it center bottom...D and move to the right. Next, find and open el 95, and reduce it by 95%, and place it centered on the 2 el 49's.. Next, find and open el 125, and reduce it by 90%, and place it angled in the top right corner. Next, find and open el 41, and reduce it by 20%, and place it in the top left corner. Next, find and open el 75, and reduce it by 85%,and center it at the bottom. Next, find and open el 44, and reduce it by 85%..FH and place it on the left side.

Next, find and open el 38, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the right side, on the flowers. Next, find and open el 152, and reduce it by 95%, and place it angled on the top left, center of the bow. Next, find and open el 112, and reduce it by 95%, and place on the right side, under the pail. Next, find and open el 59, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the left side, on the mask layer...D and move down a bit..D and FH and place on the right. Next, find and open el 61, and leaving the size as is, place on the left side of the mask..D and FH and place on the right side.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be....I like these settings: 2V 1H 70 op, 4B. Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
