Preview of the gorgeous Olala kit by Hania's Design!

Preview of the Daisy tube by Celinart!

CT PTU Tut for the Olala scrap kit by Hania's Design, which was made to match the Daisy tube by Celinart!

Materials Needed

The Olala scrap kit by Hania's Design, which can be purchased at Hania's shop   HERE

The Daisy tube by Celinart, which can be purchased at the CP shop  HERE

Template - # 34 by Amy and Leah's Gimptastic Tuts, which can be downloaded on the blog   HERE

Mask  250 by Wee Scots Lass, which can be downloaded on her blog   HERE

PSP - I am using X5, but any should do

***This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP***

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you want to do is open the template from Amy and Leah. Then, let's create our mask. Open whatever mask you choose to use; I have chosen a mask by Wee Scots Lass Misfits. Okay, in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) click FILE>OPEN>and open the mask you have chosen, then start a new image FILE>NEW>700x700 and transparent needs to be checked. I chose to use a paper instead of flood-filling...so open paper 7 and copy and paste it to the new image. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. Now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :)  Just copy and paste it to the tag, reduce the size by 60%, and place on the top right...duplicate it and flip horizontally and place on the top left...duplicate and move to bottom. Duplicate and keep doing so and moving it around until you have mask in all areas where you would like it.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

The next thing we want to do is to start adding our elements to make this tag come to life!! First, we need to put our papers on our template. The papers should be as follows: paper 7 on the circle 2 and squares 1, 2, 3, and 4, paper 4 on the rectangle, square 5, and circle 3, paper 6 on circle 1 and square 6 and LADY word art.

Next, find  and open the Daisy tube's brown layer layer. Copy and paste her to the tag...reduce her size by 45% and center her on the tag. Now go back to the tube and copy and paste it to the left square, reducing the size so the face fits nicely in the square..invert it...repeat on other 3 squares alternating direction...then add a blind effect to all 4.

Next, find and open the el 03 and reduce it to fit the top left circle. Next, find and open the el 37, and reduce size to fit the left circle. Next, find and open the el 45, and increase the size to fit on the top right circle. Next, find and open the el 69 and reduce it by 70%, and place it angled over the wagon wheel.

Next, find and open the el 85 and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the left, angled on the close ups. Next, find and open the el 42, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the right side square. Next, find and open the el 05 and reduce it by 95%, and place it on the right square, on the corner. Next, find and open the el 28, and reduce it by 90%, and place it atop the letter "d".

Next, find and open the el 78 and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the top left corner, at an angle. Next, find and open the el 23, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the top left, centered on the bow. Next, find and open the el 33, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the top left. Next, find and open the el 27, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the top right, under the bottom of the wagon wheel.

Next, find and open the el 84, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the top right, under the top of the wagon wheel. Next, find and open the el 50, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the bottom left...duplicate and place on the bottom right....duplicate and reduce 10% more and place angled on the bigger one...repeat other side.

Next, find and open the el 53, and reduce it by 98%, and place one on the 2 flowers in both bottom corners. Next, find and open the el 41 and reduce it by 65%, and place it behind the wagon wheel and behind the screen. Next, find and open the el 57, and reduce it by 95%, and place it angled on the hat.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be....I like these settings: 2V 1H 70 op, 4B. Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you did, please follow my blog and pass it along to others. If you make a tag using this tutorial, please send it to me at robynebutts@gmail.com, so I can place it on my blog.

Hugs and blessings,
Robyne
