CT PTU TUT for P-O Concept - Verano Turquoise scrap kit!

CT PTU Tut for the Verano Turquoise scrap kit by

P-O Concept, which was made to match the Verano Turquoise tube by Andy Coopert!

Materials Needed

The Verano Turquoise scrap kit by P-O Concept, which can be purchased at Scraps N Company HERE

The Blanche tube by Very Many, which can be purchased at PFD HERE

Masks 73 and 62 by Creative Misfits, which can be downloaded on the blog HERE

PSP - I am using X5, but any should do

***This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP***

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you want to do is create your beginning mask. Open whatever mask you choose to use ( I used mask 79 by Creative Misfits; start a new image FILE>NEW>700x700 and transparent needs to be checked. I chose to use a paper instead of flood-filling...so open paper 12 and copy and paste it to the new image. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. Now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :) Just copy and paste it to the tag, reducing it by 50%. Place it in the bottom right...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place on the bottom right. Duplicate both sides, and place above the previous ones...should go above the center mark of the tag. We will create the second mask later on.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

Next, find and open the el 28, and reduce it by 60%, and place on the left, on top of the sand...duplicate and move upward. Repeat on the right side. Next, find and open the Blanche tube, and place her in the turquoise bathing suit and flower. Reduce her by 30% and place her towards the left, on the bottom. Next, find and open the el 51 and reduce it by 60% and place it on the right side. Next, find and open the el 81, and reduce it by 70%, and place it on the top left. Next, find and open the el 91, and reduce it by 75% and place it behind the tree. Next, find and open the el 11, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on the left.

Next, find and open the el 26, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the top left. Next, find and open the el 39, and reduce it by 40%, and place it on the left, behind the surfboard. Next, find and open the el 68, and reduce it by 95%, and place in the tube's hand. Next, find and open the el 7, and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the left, by the towels. Next, find and open the el 75, and reduce it by 95%, and place it on the left, in front of the beach balls. Next, find and open the el 62, and reduce it by 80%, and place it in front of the towels.

Next, find and open the el 3, and reduce it by 65%, and place it on the left, behind the towels. Next, find and open the el 15, and reduce it by 98%, and place on the towels. Next, find and open the el 38, and reduce it by 80%, and place at the bottom of the tree. Next, find and open the el 64, and reduce it by 95%, and place sporadically on el 38. Next, find and open the 2nd mask - #62- and following the steps to create a mask above, use paper 3. Leave the size of this mask as it is, and copy and paste it to the top center of the tag, as a sky.

Next, find and open the el 56, and reduce it by 30%, and place it angled on the right, in front of the tree. Next, find and open the el 10, and reduce it by 75%, and place it on the right, behind the tree. Next, find and open the el 79, and reduce it by 95%, and place it on the left, behind the sun tan lotion. Next, find and open the el 57, and reduce it by 98%, and place sporadically in open spaces on the other flowers. Next, find and open the el 42, and leaving the size as is, place it in the bottom right corner. Next, find and open the el 92, and reduce it by 70%, and place it on the left, in front of the radio.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be....I like these settings: 2V 1H 70 op, 4B. Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
