CT PTU Tut for the Chica scrap kit by Kizzed By Kelz, featuring the Prowler tube by Keith Garvey!

Materials Needed

The Chica scrap kit by Kizzed By Kelz, which can be purchased at PFD HERE

The Prowler tube by Keith Garvey, which can be purchased at GarvGraphX HERE

Template - #103 by Addictive Templates, which can be downloaded on the blog HERE

Mask - #AR315CMCMask15, by Creative Misfits, which can be downloaded on the blog HERE

PSP - I am using X5, but any should do

***This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP***

Okay, let's begin. The first thing you want to do is open the template from Addictive Templates.

***(NOTE: there is a layers menu on the right side of your screen..if u do not see it then look up top and click VIEW>PALETTES>LAYERS and it will open up...u use this layer to bring things to the front..say for example u put a shoe on the tag but it went behind a bucket and u want it in front of the bucket...while holding the left click button on your mouse or touch pad down, you would slide the shoe to the layer the bucket is on..it would now be in the front...use this anytime u want to bring something to the forefront.)***

The next thing we want to do is to start adding our elements to make this tag come to life!! First, we need to put our papers and filters to our template. The papers should be as follows: paper 4 on rasters 2 and 5, paper 3 on raster 11, paper 24 on rasters 8, 9, and 10, paper 9 on rasters 3 and 4.

Next, find and open the Prowler tube...make sure you use the full-view. Copy and paste her to the tag, leaving her size as is...place her atop the bottom bar. Now go back to the tube and copy and paste the close up of the face to the left circle...reduce to fit and then invert....use a darken blend mode. i

Next, find and open the el 3 and reduce it by 25%, and place it top center on the blue bricks. Next, find and open the el 29 and reduce it by 80%, and place it top center. Next, find and open the el 27 and reduce it by 75%, and place it up top left, with half of it behind the close up tube. Next, find and open the el 60, and reduce it by 80%, and place it in the top right corner....duplicate 3 times. Next, find and open the el 94, and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the bottom right, at an angle.

Next, find and open the el 102, and reduce it by 70%, and place it on the bottom right, behind the bar and the tube. Next, find and open the el 6, and leaving the size as is, place it on the top left, on the concrete board, with 1/2 being hidden behind the close up. Next, find and open the el 116, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on top of el 6, 1/2 behind the close up. Next, find and open the el 38, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the top right, on the red bricks. Next, find and open the el 120, and reduce it by 80%, and place it angled on the top right.

Next, find and open the el 57, and reduce it by 65%, and place it on the bottom right. Next, find and open the el 119 and reduce it by 35%, and place it centered, and angled above the tube's shoulders. Next, find and open the el 11, and reduce it by 40%, and place it top center. Next, find and open the el 95, and reduce it by 80%, and place it top left. Next, find and open the el 4, and reduce it by 85%, and place it in the top left, on the left side of the hat on the close up. Next, find and open el 42, and reduce it by 90%, and place it on top of el 4.

Next, find and open the el 99, and reduce it by 85%, and place it angled on the top left. Next, find and open the el 114, and reduce it by 85%, and place it angled on the bottom left, behind the tube. Next, find and open the el 26, and reduce it by 80%, and place it on the top left, sideways on the bar. Next, find and open the el 113, and reduce it by 85%, and place it in the bottom left corner. Next, find and open el 110, and reduce it by 85%, and place it on the bottom left, on the purse.

Next, find and open the el 128, and leaving the size as is, place it top center on the very back layer of the tag...duplicate and move it to the bottom center. Next, find and open the el 122, and leaving the size as is, place it on the top left back layer, on top of the other paint....duplicate it...duplicate again and flip it horizontally and place top right...duplicate...duplicate again and place it on the bottom right...duplicate....duplicate and flip it horizontally and place on the bottom left...duplicate. Now, add a mask behind this.

Then, let's create our mask. Open whatever mask you choose to use; I have chosen a mask by Creative Misfits. Okay, in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) click FILE>OPEN>and open the mask you have chosen, then start a new image FILE>NEW>700x700 and transparent needs to be checked. Flood fill the new image with a black and white gradient. Now go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER> from image...a pop up opens..click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop down menu. Now go back to the side layers menu and click on the square that has the layers combined...right click it then click merge..the merge group..and voila..you have a mask layer now! :) Just copy and paste it to the tag, reduce the size by 60% and place in the top left corner (very very back)...duplicate and flip it horizontally and place top right....duplicate and flip vertically and place on the bottom right...duplicate and flip horizontally and place on the bottom left.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows wherever you would like them to be....I like these settings: 2V 1H 70 op, 4B. Make sure at this point that you add the copyright information (VERY IMPORTANT)!!

You did it! You now have finished this tag. Finally, add a name in any font and color of your choosing. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
