PSP - I am using X5, but any should do

**This tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of basic functions in PSP. This tutorial is a creation of my own, and any similarities are purely coincidental. If you make something with one of my tuts or templates, please email it to me at robynebutts@gmail.com  and I will post it her on my blog!

Okay, let's begin! Let's create our mask layer! Open whatever mask you chose, I chose a mask I created. Now create a new image 800x800, with a transparent back. Now for this mask, I used a paper instead of flood-filling; so open paper 1, and copy and paste it to the new image. Now, go to the top layers menu and click NEW MASK LAYER>FROM IMAGE..a pop up opens...click on the title of the mask you chose in the drop-down menu. Merge visible layers, then copy and paste it to the tag. Re-size and move as needed...for this one I increased the size by 10%, then centered it.

Next, let's do our template. Open whatever template you have chosen; I used template #28 that I created. Ok, now place papers on your mask layers; they should be as follows: paper 9 on rasters 4 and c4, paper 8 on rasters 3 and c3, paper 6 on raster 2, and paper 2 on rasters 2, c5, 6, and c6.

Now, open the tube, with the hat on...reduce by 20%, and place centered on tag.

Open the close up of the tube and place on the top left in square...FH, reduce to fit then invert...multiply. Repeat process on bottom right square but do not flip.

Open the puppy, reduce 70%, place bottom right, beside tube.

Open the ribbon 1, leaving the size as is, place on bottom towards the right.

Open the ribbon 2, leaving the size as is, place on bottom towards the left...FV.

Open the lollipop 1, leaving the size as is, place angled on the top right.

Open the cupcake present, reduce 70%, place on bottom left, left of tube.

Open the cupcake 1, reduce 80%, place bottom right by the puppy, FH.

Open the milkshake, reduce 75%..FH, place bottom right, by cupcake. .

Open the gumball machine, reduce 25%, place bottom left.

Open the cupcake 2, reduce 80%, place bottom left, front of present and gumball machine.

Open the candy 1, reduce 90%, place bottom right, front of milkshake.

Open the lollipop 3, reduce 40%, place on left, behind gumball machine.

Open the ball, reduce 90%, place bottom right, front of puppy.

Open the  butterflies, reduce 30%, place top right.

Open the bow 3, reduce 90%, place bottom left, angled on present.

Open the bow 1, reduce 45%, place angled top right, on the lollipop.

Open the flower 1, reduce 80%, and place top left.

Open the flowers 1, leaving the size as is, place bottom right behind other els.

Open  the frame 1, reduce by 40%, place top right, under lollipop.

Open the spoon, reduce 40%, place bottom right.

Open the light 1, leaving the size as is, place in right circle.

Open the sparkles 2, leaving the size as is, and place top center on the pink rectangle.

Lastly, add 3D drop shadows on whatever elements you would like them on. I like these settings: 2V 1H 70 op, 4B. Make sure at this point that you add copyright info for the tube artist..you can also add info for the scrap maker if the tube maker's TOU allows. Make sure you check TOU's!

You did it! You have completed this tut! Now you can add personalization to your creation! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial; if you did, please follow my blog, and pass it on to others! Also, please email your creations with my tuts or templates, and I will happily display them here on my blog (robynebutts@gmail.com)!

Hugz and Blessings,
Robyne'
